The register, prepared
Everything on this site is free to read. What is sold is the work of reducing 4.39 million rows to the licences that are actually live, and attaching what belongs to each.
The pages of this site are free and will stay free : an official fact belongs to no one. What is sold here is the compilation work — extracting IDFPR's Illinois professional licensing file, reconciling it, dating it, and delivering it in a usable form.
What is actually added
The source is one flat table of 4,392,883 rows for 3,869,845 licences — a licence appears more than once when it carries disciplinary actions. What is not in it:
- one row per live licence. 1,249,194 of them, with the actions attached rather than repeated;
- a usable name. The source splits it across first, middle, last, suffix and business-name, and fills different ones for individuals and businesses;
- ISO dates. Everything arrives as MM/DD/YYYY strings;
- the business/individual split, which decides how a name should even be read.
⚠️ What we will not sell
We do not produce “disciplined professionals” extracts, and we do not sell the disciplinary field on its own. It is in the public source and we supply it inside a compliance dataset when the buyer's use is checking their own people. Profiling individuals out of it is not a service.
- Change feed — USD 300 / monthOr USD 3 000 a year. At every collection, what came in, went out or changed since the previous one. This is the part that does not age.
- One slice — USD 90 / monthThe feed restricted to a single profession or county, for those who do not need the rest.
- Full snapshot — USD 4 000, onceThe state of the register on the day of delivery, every field included. Listed last on purpose : a snapshot ages.

The 6 fields marked ⚠️ do not exist in the source : we add them — a join, a normalisation, or a reconstructed history. That is the part a buyer cannot reproduce by downloading the official file.
